This snake is a decorative sculpture made of seed beads and wire. It is flexible and can be wiggled around without doing it any harm; although it is not a toy and won't survive exessive rough handling.

Adders are the UK’s only venomous snake, though bites are rare and fatalities even rarer. They are shy animals and avoid built up areas, they are most often seen when basking on rocks to warm up. They hunt mainly in open areas such as heathland and moorland, catching mainly rodents and the occasional lizard.
